About the Earth Awards

The CCF SA Earth Awards are the South Australian civil construction industry’s annual celebration of infrastructure excellence, proudly presented by the Civil Contractors Federation SA.

Regarded as the civil industry’s night of nights, the awards recognise exceptional infrastructure projects and remarkable achievements across seven categories and from under $2 million to over $150 million in value. 

2026 SA Earth Awards Gala Dinner

Award winners will be announced at the 2026 Earth Awards black-tie gala dinner on Friday 21 August 2026 at the Amora Adelaide (previously the Hilton) in the prestigious Grand Ballroom, 6.30pm arrival for a 7pm start.

Award Categories  

The Earth Awards are a great way to showcase your company’s capabilities and achievements and recognise the talent and commitment of your dedicated project teams.

The awards are divided into seven categories according to the value of the projects – note that each project category value is GST inclusive. This reflects the general break-up of work done in the civil construction sector:

• Project value up to $2M
• Project value $2M to $5M
• Project value $5M to $10M
• Project value $10M to $30M
• Project value $30M to $75M
• Project value $75M to $150M
• Project value greater than $150M

Submissions are assessed against the following criteria:

• Project & Construction Management (30%)
• Innovation (20%)
• People Development & Training (10%)
• Quality (10%)
• Safety (10%)
• Environment (10%)
• Stakeholders (10%)
