Civil Train South Australia
CCF SA has been training in South Australia for over 25 years in response to the civil industry’s need for quality training. The Centre of Excellence in Thebarton, Adelaide, houses the largest civil construction simulation suite in the Southern Hemisphere. The facility also boasts extensive classroom space, High Risk Licensing training area, an impressive confined space and working at heights facility, Smart Board technology in every classroom and is supported by our live works site in Burton where we have a range of load shifting and earthmoving equipment. A full range of short courses, licences and qualifications offered across South Australia.
CCF SA are pleased to announce that as of June 20th 2019, civil construction apprenticeships can now be undertaken – both as a normal apprenticeship or as a flexible school based apprenticeship. This now means that civil construction has finally been officially recognised as a trade in the state of South Australia.
Civil Train NT
Civil Train NT has an established presence conducting industry training in Alice Springs, Darwin and remote regions. Offering a range of short courses and pre-employment programs, the Civil Train NT team works closely with CCF NT and the NT Government to deliver quality training where it is needed.

Civil Apprenticeships and Careers LtdThe CCF SA has revolutionised the training and employment opportunities of those entering or already employed in Civil Construction and related industries delivering a declaration of trade in 2019 – this means there is now a structured apprenticeship pathway in to the industry, which aligns nationally to meet workforce development needs. The South Australian Training & Skills Commission announced the declaration of trade in June 2019, and CCF SA formed and proudly supports new GTO entity Civil Apprenticeships and Careers to facilitate employment and pathway opportunities. The Civil Apprenticeships and Careers Limited (CACL) Group Training Organisation (GTO) is a purpose built entity employing trainees and apprentices in the civil construction sector and placing them with industry to facilitate the completion of their training contracts. |
